Quick decant for sediment. Having recently had a 2013 show spectacularly well, I popped a bottle of 2011 to compare. While good, this wine does not have the concentration and structure due to the vintage. Aromas and flavors show a nice mix of blackberry, cassis, a hint of pyrazine and some toasty oak and cocoa on the back end. Medium acidity. Tannins very much resolved. Smooth finish. Tasty and enjoyable cabernet but time to drink up if holding any.

Little aeration requires. Many layers. Some sediment at the end.

Ruby & nose of leather, cigar, & bubblegum. Taste of Black & cooked fruit, smooth tannins & nice long finish. May have peaked, but good & time to drink up!

Not decanted, although just a little sediment in the bottle. Well-made and starting to show secondary characteristics. Nicely balanced, but with room for further development over the next few years.

Very nice drink! Deep red with ruby rim. Spice, pepper, and dried black fruits. Right amount of acidity to stand up to rich food. Again pepper plus maybe tobacco and leather with anise, raisin, dried black cherry to the taste. Wonderful finish that envelops the tongue and lingers before it gently fades away. Still has many years of life if you are cellaring this wine.

Vinturi'ed & decanted for 2 hrs. Tastes of raspberry, red fruits, pepper & spice. Not as good as April's bottle. Nice but disappointing.

Silky smooth. Tannins have lied down to reveal balanced wine with plenty of fruit. Less structured than I remembered but great color. Nice wine

Vinturi'ed & decanted for 2 hrs. Soft & satiny on the tongue. Tastes of red & dark fruits & plums that improved throughout the bottle.

Dark fruit and not overly tannic. A nice companion for tenderloin and roasted veggies in the patio.

Taste at TETE. Expected more. Nice dark fruit. Moderate complexity. Somewhat one note.

Decanted for an hour. Opened up to be a medium bodied Cab that was pleasing. The first taste had a aftertaste of popcorn! That's new to me. I'm patiently waiting for the 2012!

Blackberry nose, decent acidity, fine grained tannin, pretty good intensity. Too much residual sugar for me and too oaky- not my style.

Love these wines. One of my favourite vineyards and winemakers.

Nose completely closed for the first hour. Opens with a mix of a cool Bordeaux vintage and herbal Rhone notes. Chalky, savory and eventually showing some fruit after 2 hours. A bit of green, but not offsetting. Tannins are soft but present. Needs time
