1st day: not as earthy or old world style as i remembered from the tasting. decent pizza wine. 2nd day: definitely improved on second day. got a little more dustiness and a hint of earthiness today. way more of an enjoyable drink today. this wine needs some bottle age, or some serious aeration. this was double decanted and double aerated. it really didn't open up until day 2.

Smelled licorice and cherry. Tasted slightly musty, but flavor improved on the tongue. Like this alone and with red meat (filet mignon).
