Beautiful 100% Montepulciano. A lot of power, without losing its elegance. Late harvest (first week of November), aged for 24 months in oak barrels and another 12 months on the bottle. Deep ruby coloured. Medium intense aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, vanilla, raisins, bay leaf. Abruzzo 50th Anniversary Tour. 100% Montepulciano. Medium (+) to deep ruby with a purple hue. The nose is clean, youthful, medium (+) to pronounced in intensity, with explosive blackberry, ripe red cherry and sweet baking spice aromas due to 24 months of aging in Franch Oak barriqes.
