More mid-yellow than yellowish now. Over two hours, there were two or three times at which I thought that, on the nose, perhaps this bottle was ever so slightly corked. Only Mosel apple showing on the nose. Palate shows a vibrant, succulent and nicely concentrated QbA, but simpler than the one noted close to a year ago. Close to very good, though.

More than two years later, this still doesn't reveal much colour development, being a bright, lightish to mid-yellow. The nose needs some coaxing before showing yellow citrus and candied citrus, but not much time is needed for ripening peach to be detected. With the opening mouthful, the palate has a soft entry, with a broad and, for its class, a concentrated expanse of ripening yellow fruit and some creamy flavours before an acidic conclusion. However, it doesn't take long for …

It has been close to nine years, since I last had a bottle. Amazingly, a light to mid-yellow colour. Peaches and cream nose. Fresh mouth, but a little creamy-textured. While not at Sptlese level, I would not have thought at any earlier point that this was a latent Kabinett. Yes, more concentration than a QbA, but simpler than a good Kabinett. Still, showing very well. Should hold for another 5 years. Merits a very good rating.

Deep golden yellow color, sweet mouth but not crazy sugar. Feel confident in opening with szechuan food

crisp lime, Riesling flavors, likely sweet and bright. Fantastic quality for a QBA.

This has definitely changed from the last time I tasted, but still quite good. More of an all around opulent aroma- peach, apricot, white flower, mineral. Distinctly more acid on the palate.

Green apple, slate, lime, hint of petrol. Sweetness fading somewhat, good acidic structure. Surprisingly long and just plain tasty. Works with nước chấm flavored Vietnamese dishes, and certainly handles the heat.

Yellowish-straw colour. A smokey, still slightly yeasty, white-fruit nose that is now showing some seawater notes. Is there some material from the Saar in this, I wonder? Light bodied. Citrus zest. Very crisp and crunchy, with green apple acid. Still very fresh and vibrant. A lovely and inimitable Mosel riesling. Better than when last tasted. Fine.

A.P. 1109. Straw colour. Green apple, smoke, slate and still some yeast. Compelling nose. Vibrant. Clearly cooler vintage material, but lots of energy, minerality, crunchy white fruit and cleansing acid. Better than last published note. Very good plus.

Beautiful stuff. Just the slightest, tiniest petrol note in the background that it feels like serious Riesling but it's all sunshine and flowers after that. Very enjoyable. Sample for review.

Apples, minerality, lime. Sweet with acid finale, lime and apples. With a bit more time, autolysis.

Very nice inexpensive German Riesling. Typical floral nose with spicy finish. Nice acidity to balance slight sweetness.

Brilliant acidity, effervescence and sweetness, not complicated but a good easy drinking every day Riesling - Light gold, medium viscosity with a nose of apple and sweet tropical fruit, exellent acidity, off dry on the palate with good length (88 Points).

This is an amazing wine for the price. Floral, peach and wet stone. A touch of sweetness on the palate. Solid finish.

Pale greenish-yellow in the glass. K. nailed this with exorbitant wet hay on the nose, with peat and hints of pear and pineapple in the distant background. In the mouth, the 4% residual sugar really makes its presence known immediately. (Note to self: 4% may be too much for your palate.) Pear shines through in the mouth, a nice break from the grassiness. Lively acidity leads to a medium long finish, with wet hay lingering on the palate. Well-made, but …

A.P. 1109. Straw colour. Slate, citrus, apple, flint and a trace of yeast on the nose. Confidently and unmistakably Mosel. Off-dry. Lightish body, with a lovely nervous tension between minerality, white fruit and crunchy acid. Very good.

Very quaffable! Light bodied, golden yellow, apples and minerality, slightly sweet, well balanced acidity. Drinkable and fantastic with seafood and pasta.
