Dark golden yellow showing some oxidation. Very nice on a warm California afternoon poolside with snacks. Fruit was somewhat muted by noted almond, peach, hints of lemon and classic minerality. Very well rounded medium body. I had expected more acidity but the wine held up to crab salad, dips and chips and other finger foods quite well.

Over the hill. Muted nose and a undescript palate. Some bitterness towards the end. Rich deep yellow colour.

IWS Rest of Northern Italy tasting (My place, Kent Street) : From Coravin. Crushed green apple, a little smoky note (perhaps smoked bacon?) a touch of herbaceousness and, with time, a little honey. Sour medium plus intensity acidity, green apple, the smoky note present but more muted on the palate, a little phenolic grip on the gums. Hmm.

Clear medium gold; clear medium plus nose of cheese and ripe lemons; dry; high acidity; medium alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of floral notes, pith and nutmeg/cinnamon/soil; long finish; drink now; has a certain weightiness and oiliness: really fascinating - smelled like a white Bordeaux but tasted like a marsanne/roussanne blend

Fat, floral with a hint of bitter caper. Good stuff.

PnP. Pale metallic yellow. Aromatic spicy interesting aroma. Harmonious dry palate, good acidity, almost exotic fruit, some bitterness in the finish helps clear up the mouth. slightly viscous. Drink now-2020 I suppose. Much like an Trentino Pinot Grigio with more character.

Lime, quinine, a slight touch of floral. Very nice if not overly complex. A bit of oily texture adds to the depth to the dry finish.

Wine Education Service - Italy, The North East (Imperial College) : Green gold. Beautiful aromas but too much oak on the nose. Tastes a bit like sauvignon blanc - very refreshing, needs time in the cellar, very long finish.

Slightly pale straw color. Nose of cat pee, grapefruit, blood oranges, and clove along with a dry hay aroma. Nice acidity, with tastes of blood oranges, grapefruit peel, and graham cracker. Good tannic and acid structures. Long finish. Smooth and round on the palate, but not flabby due to the acid. The graham cracker comes back on the retronasal. The finish is very long. Finishes with tangerine at the very end.
