Tale of two bottles: 1) Full of brett. Pure band aid on the nose, bitterness on the palate, and not much else. I have one more bottle to try. 2) Much better. A shy nose with blue and black fruits, light herbal notes, spice, a touch of the brett from before but in balance and not unpleasant. Gorgeous dark red purple colour for a sangiovese.
