Late night at home with neighbourhood friends. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Screw-cap. Appearance is clear, very pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of petroleum (blew off by day 2), white flowers, stony minerality, citrus lime. Youthful. On the palate, dry, lovely high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet citrus lime (salted lime on day 2), white peach, ripe lemon, clean stony minerality, inner honeyed fruit sweetness. Long …

A fun drink. This is a richer styled Riesling with ample fruit and sufficient acidity. The petrol notes were there to point out the varietal but, in general, this is simply an enjoyable wine.
