Beau vin équilibré; néanmoins, ce n'est plus chatoyant...il y a quelque chose de terne voire de légèrement fatigué.

Not a terribly complex nose, but very fresh and floral, nuts and apples present. On the palate, most noticeable is the acidity, which is very prominent. Citrus fruits, green apple, a strong stony component, and a bit of bitterness. Still, the finish holds some acidity, mostly with citrus fruits, is fairly long, and overall this is a very refreshing, clean and light wine. An easy drink that I enjoyed alone and also with a bit of homemade mac n' cheese.

Yellow colour, some smoked oak, some honey developing but marked by a strong citrusy feeling. High alcohol and heavy density with fairly good fruit concentration (citrus) and good acidity. Almost balanced and should drink now-2011. Was expecting more mineral. A good priceworthy effort for a Winter Tuesday evening to go with my salmon. My over-the-street-neighbour had a small chimney fire, the fire brigade arrived and extingished it rapidly. Wine worked well with that experience as well...
