Bright ruby red rim, has notes of sour cherry that make you pucker. Also has some menthol with a bright acidity that lingers. Minimal tannins, but enough to hold it together through the finish. Needs sharp cheese, tomato sauce or another acidic food to allow it to shine.

Tart and sour cherry flavors. More tartness than I remembered. Decent acidity to back it up. Medium finish. Not a bad wine, but nothing too memorable either.

A surprisingly disappointing effort for this winery. They're usually exquisite, but this was just a misstep. Far too tart, sour for my taste. Might be better with food?

Delicious taster for a quiet evening. Light flavors reminiscent of a pinot noir. Tastes and aromas are more like a light Oregon pinot as opposed to a fruit forward California version. I will enjoy this bottle on my own but will contemplate getting another to share with close friends.
