Boring wine. No fruit or complexity. Sour. Bought on release and well stored. Drink asap

Darker than expected and slightly hazy. Funky, mushroomy nose, bright cherry fruit with a bit of an oxidized undertone. This is a bit too acidic for what fruit is left but is still a good and interesting wine. Drink up.

Light, young. Tight, tart. Lots of stuffing but needs time. Promise but not there today. (92++?)

I have always loved this wine. Great depth and flavor concentration coupled with pure fruit and dried leaves. The weight and finish speak of noble juice. (93)

Nose AND palate were muted. Wait for hibernation to end.

Extremely shy, introverted nose with just a hint of charming pinot fruit. Beyond the lack of aroma, the structure of the wine is beautiful - a rich red fruit core and a powerful but graceful backbone of acid and tannin. If the nose lived up to the palate, the wine would be a 92 or better. My first and only bottle of this so I cannot diagnosis the discrepancy: whether my bottle showed true to form, was closed down, or …

Velvety, somewhat spicey, good fruit, weight and length. Excellent QPR

Really delicious. Gorgeous red fruits, superb minerality and wonderful finish. No great maturity here yet, just a lovely, integrated tasty bottle of burgundy. Pop now, or leave for 10 years.

Deep red. Red berries, wild herbs and a hint of stone. Deeply fruited yet serious. Packs a palate punch yet has a velvety texture. Quite forward, as this wine has always been, though showing a bit less depth than past bottles. Lovely profile but missing that extra something. Delicious but not exciting tonight. (92)

Decanted two hours, enjoyed with a dinner of grilled porterhouse steak served with baby brussel sprouts sauteed with applewood smoked bacon. Nose was very reluctant upon opening, stayed that way throughout the decant time, only to explode after a few swirls in the glass to reveal lavender, red fruits, baking spice. Feminine in character, vibrant fruit flavors on the palate, some earthy quality, and I echo the elegance mentioned by several other posters. The finish held nicely, revealing a tea …

very different than the Jadot, mores structured, red crunchy fruit, rather pure and focused. Were grapes picked before the Jadot vines? Perhaps less Pommard in nature than I would have expected given the vintage for me but I enjoyed this rather elegant interpretation.

A seemingly pure and unadulterated wine... light in color, stony character that I am guessing to be stems, iron, roses, dust and crunchy red fruit. Tannic and acidic and backwards on the palate. Fair length to the finish with a monster acid clench. This is a pretty good wine though not terribly ripe and with quite the acidic clench. I wouldn't quite call it thin but it's certainly no monster of concentration. I don't find anything underripe but I don't …

popped and poured. initially closed down- not showing much. vacu0vined and held overnight- opened up wonderfully. Lovely cinnamon driven nose- palate is so elegant, without leaving the pommard out of the equation- fantastic wine that leaves you wanting more.

Deep ruby – nose is off today slightly corked. There is good fruit underneath, but this does not show the intensity, purity or sweetness of other bottles. Not in the same league – too bad….

Wonderful depth and precision wrapped in a mineral and red pinot fruit package. Medium bodied yet authoritative. Gorgeous now, this should only get better over the next five or so years. Showed more grace than I would have imagined. Loved it and glad to have more. (93+)

popped and poured. fantastic nose of cassis, cinnamon and root beer. the palate is balanced, very elegant and detailed with very fine tannins and a wonderful steely laciness. This is elegant a pommard as I can ever remember tasting. terrific stuff- drinking very well now and I think this will last for 15 years at least, as the structure is evident.
