A private lunch (Restaurant Lasarte ***, Barcelona, Spain) : Very deep colour, really clings to the glass, green rim indicates age; rich and meaty nose, currants and spices; unctuous and spicy palate, pain d'�pices, sweetness balanced by firm acidity, coffee and cocoa; excellent length. Excellent.
