Mid Jul 2010: upper shoulder; black purple color; first glass: what's up in the nose? intense smoke, tobacco and pepper aromas/flavors accompanied with a certain sweetness; after a while I became aware where I had such a tasting experience before: Islay malt (of course, except for the alcohol level :-); second glass: behind the smoke red fruit aromas/flavors like strawberry and red currant showed up and in the end: violets; on the palate barren and meagre.
