Very tight an tannic at opening. Decanted for two hours and it revealed lots of black cherry, milk chocolate cassis. Relaxed tannins, great mouthfeel and a long finish. Very full bodied and inky colored.

Rich, full, fruity, semi-soft tannic finish. Drinking well, could still age more.

Celebrate Walla Walla Vintage Pour (Walla Walla Vitners) : The beauty of being an independent wine critic is you don't have to kiss anyone's ... The 07 and 10 from a mag were terrible and the worst wines at this tasting. This was tired with sediment, dust, lacking fruit and dirt. Shorter finish. Well past peak.

After reading reviews decided to open it. After decanting about 90 minutes was still not ready to drink yet. Good flavor but still kinda harsh. Good with food. I would still wait a few years.

Hard to evaluate as to whether to this is ready to drink or needs more aging. Short decant with some aeration. Initially quite tannic, but with good fruit. Then later the tannins soften, but the fruit kind of died off. Not sure where to go with this wine.

Deep dark purple color. Dark ripe fruit aromas and dark flowers on the nose. The plush palate is loaded with dark stone fruits, oak, minerals and a bit of spice. Fine tannins make for a nice long finish. This is tasty but can cellar for some years to come.

Can't complain about this wine, but the price is high. Flavors are great, black fruit, vanilla, soft tannins. Classic Walla Walla, which I like alot. Just pricey.

Wow, this wine is still getting better with age. Deep, dark fruit but well balanced with softened tannins. Tarry flavors with no herbal edges. Have owned since release and opened bottle 1.5 hours before serving and it just got better through the night. Guests brought a 2015 Jordan which didn't come close in comparison. Probably got another year or two but maybe not worth waiting.

On PnP there was really nothing of note. We let it decant for 30 mins - totally different wine. Dark red fruit, grippy tannins, single note, medium finish.

Wet leaves, oak and leather on the nose with an overtone of very ripe fruit. Beautiful ruby color with layers of flavor, cherry, blackberry and licorice. An incredible full bodied finish - it just sits on your tongue and takes up residence. I’m sorry this is my last bottle - it’s wonderful.

Spectacular. Soft, smooth but with deep black cherry and superb balance. Served with some serious Italian red sauce and it was bold enough and with enough acid to complement the meal. Loved it.

Robust profile of oak, deep red cherry and allspice with a bit heavy alcohol content at 14.6%. This 2015 is impressive now but will surely evolve with age.

At first, I thought it was little past it’s peak. Color is showing it’s age as it has a slight brown hue. This wine really needs to be decanted. Straight out of the bottle, I thought I was past its prime. It opened up after a few hours and was very nice. I would not wait much longer, I feel it’s at its peak.

My wife and I tasted this at the Woodinville tasting room on 9/13/18. It had a rich, deep, expressive nose of black currant, black cherry, mocha, cocoa, cinnamon, sage, spice and mineral aromas. The palate was rich and elegant with flavors that followed the nose.

Brilliant dark garnet color, with subtle aromas of dry cedar and dark fruit. Flavors of macerated black cherry and blueberry with dark chocolate mousse. Delicious full bodied wine with soft fine tannins and a touch of acidity. 5 more years left in this one, at least, great now though.

A real beauty, as Jean Francois so often produces. Elegant complexity and a well-rounded wine. Aqueous but not dilute, rather adding to the ability to let the many layers present themselves. Enough zing on the south side to let you know you've just been had.

I am so very glad he found my last bottle of this in my cellar. We decanted it for 10 min before the first tastisng tons of spicy fruit with a little Bordeaux style funk on the nose. After another 5 min of swirling, a long complex Cab started to assert itself. As I am writing this 2+hours after drinking, my apologies for the lack of clarity pertaining to particular flavors. Suffice to say, at 16 yrs old, this Pepperbridge …

They do things right in Walla Walla Washington, that is FOR SURE! This is just what you want in a Cab, if a Cab is really what you want. This is textbook! Currant, tannins, and a finish that dries your mouth out, and readies it for the next sip. Also, this has lots of life left. Drink by 2022!

Decanted over 2 hours. It has been >4 years since we last had this vintage and this wine has really matured. Deep "cabby" flavor but very smooth around the edges. The pepper that wasn't there back in 2012 is now there. Lot's of leather and earth. This wine is in its prime drinking window right now and is excellent. Paired with a couple of big grilled rib-eyes. Outstanding.

Definitely improved with age. Black fruit leads on the nose, especially black currant. The fruit aromas are mixed with a bit of earth and a pleasant spiciness. Smooth, firm, and big on the palate. Mostly mixed black fruit flavor with some oak and a hint of baking spice into the finish. Extremely long finish. Lots of life left in this bottle. Drink or hold.

Friends brought this over on 5/14/16. It had a rich, fragrant bouquet of cassis, blueberry, cedar, licorice and spice aromas. The palate was rich and dense with flavors of cassis, blueberry, licorice and spice. I think this is in it’s prime now.
