Dusty, almost brambly darker fruit, cedar, fresh herbs with the palate taking on a slight saline note. Light bodied. Finishes with what seem light pretty well resolved tannins. Drink now.

Very good, though I was expecting a tad more individuality. Thus far I've had no luck with this label's syrahs -- but love their cabs. This grenache falls somewhere in the middle. Middling QPR at my sub-30 tariff.

WA Grenache Tasting : Slight VA? seems a touch off. but actually really enjoyable. sour cherry, great structure.. 2/6 of flight.

Tasted blind in a flight together with other Grenache-based Washington wines. I had this #3 in the flight after a 2009 No Girls and 2010 Kerloo Alder Ridge, and ahead of 2012 Latta Wines Grenache Upland Vineyard, 2012 La Rata Wines La Rata, and 2016 Orr Wines Grenache Columbia Valley. (Note: For me, this was more enjoyable than a 2010 Gramercy Cellars Grenache from Olsen vineyard, which was in a separate flight.)

Good but a little out of balance for me, a bit of greeness and some heat on the back made me wonder if this bottle needed more time of if it's just the way it is going to be? It did show some nice acidity and rich dark fruits. I revisited 3-4 days later and it still had life, so that was a plus...just not one of my favorites when it comes to GC.

Soft, pleasant, fairly light in style, but not especially complex. It would pair well with pork tenderloin. It was too light for the lamb I served it with tonight.

Good but not fantastic wine. Very nice balance and good acidity, etc but the aromas /flavor profile were not quite as pretty as some other Grenache I've had. But it was solid with decent length/finish, took a few minutes for the alcohol to blow off but that was not a problem.

Nose: somewhat muted but quite nice. Strawberries, charcoal ash, Spring flowers, rose perfume. Iodine and a slight bit of smoke. Palate: decanted 1 hour. Very smooth, well integrated medium body, slightly lush. Bright acidity balanced with a touch of sweetness, no noticeable alcohol. The tannins are minimal but solid enough to keep the wine structured and focused. The wine has a beautiful figure, big praise to the winemakers. Lighter in style than most Gramercy offerings, this Grenache had flavor of ripe strawberry with well integrated tannins even at this early age. Would pair well with roast chicken or similar.

w beef brisket from smoker. Shannon and Keith visiting. not a good combination. This was too light for the meal. Decent wine but it appeared a bit light (maybe the food power) Color was nice, the nose was light fruit. On palate this was OK. had expected a bit more body.
