Our own-label Margaux comes from one of the finest Cabernet soils in the region, that of Ch. Brane-Cantenac. Drawn mostly from the fruit of the estate’s younger vines (averaging 35 years in age), there is a lifted nose of vibrant, blackcurrant fruit and perfectly-judged oak. The fruit is rounded and soft, with warming notes of sloes and wood-smoke on the long, lingering finish.
