Domaine du Château de Chorey (Germain) Beaune 1er Cru

La Manche Wine Circle - Wine 'Foire' French Regional Challenge (Le Rouge Palu) : Medium light red robe with light ruby rim. Cedar and ripe fruit in harmony with heady but attractive secondary alcohol aromas and a hint of the farmyard. Cherry and prune come across to a soft but mouth-filling palate and a lingering finish. A very pleasant acidity makes a wine to keep for a few years.
