Fair/Good. PnP. Black cherries on the attack with a bit of eucalyptus; kinda medicinal, but not in a bad way. It probably has something to do with the 14.5% alcohol. Some chocolate notes on the finish, which feels, somehow, contrived. It drinks okay, but Penfolds it ain't.

A little funky- Aroma was a little Skunky, and a little too astringent for my taste.

Clearly made for the lower end of the US export market.

This is a thick, syrupy wine. I like thicky syrupy wines. I didn't like this. Short finish, sweet like ribena - but not in a good way. I couldn't finish this. Tasted like cheap, nasty wine. I wish I could be more descriptive.

Easy drinking, value wine. Fruity, light body, mostly dark. Unassuming nose, berry aroma. Balanced. Nothing particular stands out. Good for parties as a crowd pleaser and a good value.

Dark berries on the nose. Ruby color. Medium to slow legs. Raspberries and black berries up front; medium body and a smooth mouth feel; some pepper on the finish. Went great with pasta and meat sauce. Good wine for $14.

Good value $14. Dark garnet; black currant, cherries, nutmeg nose; mid-body; good fruit and structure; long semi-chewy finish. A rib and BBQ wine. Also, note for other scorers, when they give something a low score, it would be helpful if they added a note.

(Day 2) - color: dark purple; nose: oak and vanilla; taste: full-bodied mouth feel, rounded cherry-plum fruit taste, medium-length chewy finish carries a wallop of black pepper and concludes with abundant tasty tannins; overall:LC's 2014 vintage, like those of previous years, is affable, flirty, and just a tad sloppy. Good enough to serve to casual company. Would pair well with grilled hamburgers or kabobs. At its peak as of Feb 2017. Excellent value at Costco at approx. $11.50/bottle.

Juicy blueberry, spice, and a little bit of minerals. Simple but nice.

A bit harsh, softened with food, not bad for $12
