Perhaps my previous bottle (2019) was flawed somehow, as I wasn't impressed by it. This on the other hand opened up beautifully straight away. Cherries, licorice, eucalyptus - long, almost leather like finish. Just missing a bit more tannic grip that I tend to prefer. Has time on its side.

Insgesamt recht kompakt und braucht noch deutlich Luft -> Jahrgang grunds�tzlich noch etwas liegenlassen? Hier in der Nase Blaubeere, Provence-Kr�uter, etwas Fleisch, deutlich schwarze Olive und vor allem Gew�rze mit dominanter Pfeffernote. Mit viel Luft wird es auch etwas frischer und es kommt auch etwas Graphit hinzu sowie ein deutlich frisch-floraler Eindruck. Am Gaumen fast k�hl, dazu sehr feines Tannin (Tannin per se ist mir erst beim Nachdenken aufgefallen), guter Zug. Auch hier tut sich mit viel Luft noch etwas: …

Day one and I wasn�t impressed by this. Seemed devoid of anything of note. Still quite tight. Not a patch on the 2010s enjoyed previously. Perhaps needs much more time. Day two and some improvement noted, softer and better balance. There is a hint of greeness however. Give this 5 years+ to see if it improves.
