Very much enjoyed. Some breathing really brought out the flavors in the wine and softened the tannin. Quite smooth.

Drinking super smooth.... At first like a Pinot, then the body hits. Just a little jammy. Really delicious

Started out somewhat reductive, and I wondered if it may be corked (cork had a tiny amount of TCA aroma). This blew off with some air, and the gamey, robust Red Mountain Syrah awoke. Flavors of black pepper, barnyard, black fruit and oak. Really enjoyable, particularly paired with smoked pork ribs and grilled NY steak bites. Seems like it has some time left in it...Drink now - 2028.

Decanted for about an hour. Initially a bit simple and was going to score mid-high 80's. After about another hour, some funk came out on the nose and it became much more wild and gamey side of syrah. Fun to drink

Racy and sporty with great length yet still quite young. Delicious

Bought on Garagiste for 29. Not a big Syrah drinker but this is surprisingly structured and layered for a domestic wine. Nose is full of dark black fruit followed by some black pepp, bacon fat and sweet violet. Very concentrated and beautiful. Palate continues with more concentrated black fruit, hints of iron and gravel, cofee bean and coco. Long finish and well integrated. Perhaps the can sauv is what calms this a bit. Well made. Great qpr.

80% Syrah with some Cab and Viognier. Medium nose shows blackberry, black pepper, coffee grounds, sour black plum, something rocky like gravel. Palate matches with black fruit and spice, signs of oak with dark chocolate or toasted vanilla, less mineral tone on the palate, more about the dark fruit, blackberry, black plum. Medium plus tannins and alcohol back it up. New World style and tasty stuff.

Oh my, very nice wine. Structured and balanced with that Syrah spice. Acidity, dark fruit, and tannins all in balance; my kind of wine.
