G.H. von Mumm Johannisberger Riesling trocken

Very similar in style to the very successful 2016, delightfully ripe citrus fruit (lemon zest, red grapefruit) on the nose, hints of apple and nutmeg, lovely Rheingau expression; juicy but dry palate, light to medium body (12.5% ABV), charming but with a welcome touch of youthful phenolic austerity, good flavour intensity, resonance and length. Very good value.
