ABV: 14.4%. Wow … a beautiful nose that displays the Pritchard Hill terroir. Very savory with soy sauce, crushed rocks, and dark chocolate with some dark, black fruits in the background. On the palate, it’s still a little tight, but the fruits are just beginning to appear so I see good potential in this wine. Nice, long finish. At approximately 22-years-old, this Cab is holding up well. It can easily cellar for at least another 5 years. If you’re opening …

14.4%. Classic cal cab nose. Firmly structured, but very well integrated - acid and tannin in perfect balance. Fruit notes of blackcurrant and raspberry; some vanilla and toast but the oak's been laid on with a restrained hand. 25sec. finish. Delicious.

Showing some life. Upon pop & pour not particularly impressive, but improved significantly over the course of the next few days.

Surprisingly nice....Pop and poured....No decant was needed and, for that matter, not sure it really would have benefitted from one regardless...saved enough for a couple glasses the next night and it was still there, not as good, but still ther.....A Wine Access purchase that delivered....

Opened this to have before dinner out but it was still to hot and tannic. Let it breath for three hours and it was a different wine. Really liked the big smooth cab nose and taste. I agree with the other notes that it is not an over the top fruit bomb, more elegant and seems to be good value at this price.

Popped and poured, finished up following day. Nice change from the over the top high alcohol fruit bombs coming out of Napa. Good structure, a little short on the finish. Would drink now.

Decanted for 2 hours, much better than the first bottle that I popped and poured last summer. Very good QPR with respect to their neighbors.
