Goat Rocks Winery Tempranillo

Still not very good. Throwing lots of sediment. I hope to have improved from this wine. Note: I made this wine.

One of my first red wines and full of mistakes. Tastes Ok though and some day I'll try again with Tempranillo.

-- decanted for one hour before initial taste -- -- tasted non-blind over a few hours -- NOSE: light-to-moderate oak; smells like freshly-fermenting red grapes; chocolate milk. BODY: sediment in bottle; tons of fine particulate matter present; medium bodied. TASTE: French oak; tart acidity; very fine tannin provides a touch of front-to-mid palate grip; slightly oxidized taste after a couple hours; tart red apple; oxidized apple a bit after a couple hours.

Holy crap. this has turned into a decent wine.Color is deep purple black. Nose is warm oak and mulberry, palate has some nice depth, medium body, still a bit too much tart acid on the finish, but that is fading from bottling. Will hold for another 6 months before sampling again. If it is not clear here, this is a wine I made.
