Super dense cork. I really had a struggle putting the cork screw and ah-so portions of the Durand in. And pulling it out took plenty of effort. Which is why the wine drinks more preserved than aged. still very darkly fruited in color and expression. Very dark for Zin even. The label description describes how they were quite happy with the vintage in terms of growing. This clocks in at a robust 14.4%. Jut hints of oxidation and no bricking …
