Didn't live up to our memories of a fantastic white for the price, but we did surely enjoy it in Montreat as we sat on the porch late at night, sipping it, snacking on cheese and crackers, watching the newish Star Trek on my laptop. Reminded me of an Arneis we'd had recently. Lemon and herbs. Worked on it's own but better with snacks.

color: pale yellow; nose: pineapple and flowers; taste: slightly flinty crisp mouth feel, tart fruit, medium-length dry mineral finish; overall: tasty choice if you're up for dry and crisp -- left me longing for an oyster, a little one-dimensional on its own, I paid $13 but think that's high -- would be worth buying more of at $10

Some sweetness, but not too much. Reasonable substance. Some acidity. Lighter wine in color and viscosity. Not super-intense. No oak. Very clean tasting wine. Straightforward; not fancy.

Drunk blind in the context of not knowing what varieties make up this blend. Fruit salad style, very simple and straight forward but to be fair probably didn't really ever aspire to much in the serious, complexity stakes. Some tangy lemon and acidity provides some mouth puckering intensity but nothing too severe. Post consumption I see that Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc dominate, a little surprising given the obiovus citrus impact, but I do not that the wine was much more …

À l'aveugle, on croirait un vin élaboré avec du sauvignon. Il est plutôt dominé par le cépage verdejo (85 %), et son nez intense propose des arômes d'agrumes (pamplemousse) et de fruit de la passion, de même qu'un effluve végétal charmeur. Une acidité bien présente et une pointe d'amertume lui confèrent fraîcheur et équilibre. Un beau blanc à bon prix qui accompagnera à merveille les crevettes à la coriandre.
