Beautiful lithe feminine Chambolle, the nose springs from the glass, complex spice and florals, roses, violets, even a hint of lilac, mineralite like a gunpowder explosion in a limestone quarry, but then even a hint of savoury, masculine, meaty elements in the background. Lovely red fruited mineral palate, hints of pomegranate, blood orange and Oolong tea, no discernible tannin. This is a very pretty and complete wine which is drop dead gorgeous now.
