One of the better wines I've had Jammu and light with a fresh berry flavour

Beautifull Hermitage. Still young in appearance, with a complex palate and a long, fresh and balanced finish. Best with food.

Delicious Hermitage, makes me want to taste the La Chapelle once. This Petite Chapelle is dark purple in the glass with a small brownish edge. Strong nose. The palate gives fruit, spice, earth and leather. Truly great wine. At peak, or close to peak. Will be great for many more years to come.

This was one of several wines I lugged back from a French holiday several years ago. And it was worth the travel from the Rhone to Australia. The nose shows bright fruit but the palate is starting to show off an array of tertiary flavours - leather, sage and peppery notes to go with a red spectrum of fruit. Medium bodied and fine tannins. Good length too. Ready to drink now, but there's still upside if holding, no rush

Red berries, pepper , herbs with licorise. Full satisfaction with softness. Enjoy with chicken braised over a bed of noodles.

No notes taken. Lovely, balanced and elegant Syrah, if not complex or deep enough to be a great wine. Utterly convincing though, no green notes, no sharp edges, just peppery, dark aromas, elegant, lowish alcohol palate. Ready to drink, but no sign of tertiary aromas yet.

Inviting, sweet, dark fruit and floral nose with slight black peppery note. Medium bodied, balanced, fruity palate. Long finish.

这款酒的状态有点可疑。开瓶黑莓、丁香、胡椒和橡木桶的风味很好,单宁处理的也很不错,只是收尾有点草率,不合理。状态用了将近一个小时才稳定,但已经显露出老态无法归来。

Drank in London Really lovely wine that just makes me think how good it's bigger brother is going to be.

Decanter Fine Wine Encounter; 11/13/2010-11/14/2010 (Landmark Hotel, London) : (Decanter Fine Wine Encounter) Bright red color, a bit closed in the nose, round mouth, very fruity, peppery, nice acidity, firm, end with a cherry aftertaste. Very good food wine ready to drink now and maybe for the next 3-5 years.
