Domaine Jean Parent Volnay 1er Cru en l'Ormeau

Perfumed, pretty very floral nose with undertones of earth. Lovely dark fruited mid-palate in a very elegant style with real persistence. Some tannin on the finish. Fruit fading now: this was probably at its best 5 years ago but I forgot about it in the cellar!
