Has your typical chardonnay orchard fruit and displays signs of fairly robust oak treatment (though I suspect oak chips). Opened up more on the second day, with the fruit and the acidity showing through the oak more. Not too complex, but I would say it's capable for the price and middle-of-the-road in terms of style - you could do a lot worse for a $13 chardonnay.
