Escape Verdelho

This wine is value priced at $6 AUS. As might be guessed by the price, the wine isn't terribly complex, but there is an interesting green apple persistance in the palate. It's what a bargain verdejo (verdelho in oz-speak) should be - crisp and refreshing. On the nose, it displays green fruit and minerality. The acidity is nice but not perfect. If you can find it, a great summer cocktail wine.
