Black fruit, earth, so smooth and incredible with some A5 wagyu. Both 8/10- Heber only 8/10 because we found it for $10 at Costco

Decanted 1 hour before and Consumed over 2 days with no discernible change.I feel I have been too harsh on this wine earlier in the year.Maybe bottle variation. This time à point, living up to the reputation of great value for money in a challenging year.

Well made wine in a not so great vintage. Earthy dampness, dusty tannins, fruit is more in the background. Good context for surrounding vintages.

Decanted 1 hour before consumption and drunk over 2 days.Siran is often a great value for money buy and rarely disappoints, it is possible my expectations are raised.Whilst the wine was perfectly drinkable and enjoyable, it lacked substance. The wine was generally thin offering little grip.

Bordeaux - Right Bank vs Left Bank (Vintage Wine Storage - 10615 Metric blvd Austin, TX 78758) : Soft approachable, and juicy. Very floral. In development with structure still evident, but fruits being smooth. Big juicy finish. Time will help this.

Black cherries, plums, flowers and a dollop of cocoa pop in the perfume. On the palate, the wine is supple creamy and fresh with a nice sweetness to the fruits, lift and a dusty, edged finish. Drink from 2025-2040.

UGCB Amsterdam, walkaround tasting so just short notes. : Juicy red and dark berries, good acidity, round tannin and a good length.

UGCB tasting-Amsterdam 2021 Bordeaux 03-04-2024: A mostly hidden bouquet, nice body and firm tannins; I don't know what its future will bring.

Lovely, ripe, fresh; should provide pleasure and class at a very fair price.

Union Des Grands Crus Bordeaux (New York City, NY, USA) : Earthy and reasonably well perfumed with good tension and acidity without grippy tannin. Fairly long finish but lacking a little fruit. Pretty but didn't wow me.

(89-91 vvPunkte) Rubinrot. Dourthe) vvWine.ch

Violets, cherries and tobacco leaf show up with ease on the palate. The wine is soft, fresh, polished, silky, vibrant, elegant and spicy. The finish is loaded with peppery, red currants, a touch of espresso and spicy plums. Give it a year or two of aging, and enjoy it over the following 15 or more years. Interestingly, this is the first time in ages, if not in history that the blend was dominated by Cabernet. The wine blends 60% Cabernet …

Had it's best time and I think it's best was also not very good due to the vintage. Wet forrest, maggi and iron. It tastes allright and thats it.

The wine is very ready to drink. In my opinion just over the top; still nice acidity and tannines but it lacks fruitfulness. Bit blackberry's, leather and spices like cinnamon, vegetal and dried fruits. The wine has a narrow texture and a medium finish

This was my last bottle. Love it even more. Very delicate wine. It has improved with few more years ... especially the finish.

Not good, not bad. Nothing special now but maybe in 2 or 3 years time?

I visited this Chateau in 2004 and brought back 3 bottles with me. This is the first one that I am opening. Very nice dark reddish color, with a pleasing nose. I decanted it and wait around 2 hours before drinking. Definite note of liquorice, tabaco and leather. More on the medium bodied side offering a nice finish with a little pinch of acidity at the end. Very enjoyable and should still improve a little with few more years.

Consistent with previous note: "Beautiful color, no signs of ageing. Delicious sweet nose and dry palate with classic bordeaux notes. After some time in the glass, secondary notes on the nose (licqourice and cigar-box) appear on the nose and the palate. Medium-long finish. Will improve (or keep?) for a few years still. But don't wait too long."

I think this wine was overdue 72, but the funning thing, is that the friends I drank the wine with, found it very good.

Beautiful bright black color. The nose was fruity and deep and the palate was dense, fruity (black fruit) with some mint and vanilla. Very ripe but with plenty of acid. The finish was lovely 30+ seconds. Drink over the next 10 years.
