- Light gold color and aromas of tar. It's lacking fruit and has flavours of tar and medicinal with a light body. Narrow texture with a short finish - Sour, off tasting, over its prime.slightly bitter

Pale yellow in color with grassy qualities and stony minerality on the nose. Some slightly vegetal characteristics as well. Bright, clean and focused with nice balance between the grapefruit flavors, herbal notes, and acidity. One of my perennial favorite Sauvignon's, but at the price point, it's hard not to reach a few more bucks up the ladder and get a Cloudy Bay! If this was priced at $15 instead of $23 I'd give it 90-91.

Another instance where a grape, Sauvignon Blanc, with which I am very familiar, is grown in a region that I don't know that much about, resulting in some flavors and aromas that take a little effort to describe. There is a bit of that typical grassiness on the nose, but also some floral aromas. Pretty clear with the color. Tropical fruit and of course some lemon on the palate, maybe even some melon. I'm getting what I want to describe …

Watery-white in color, one of the lighter colored wines I have ever seen, this is extraordinarily light, with subtle, but pleasing aromas of melon, cucumber, pea, gooseberry and citrus, accented with a faint, stony minerality. Bone-dry, light-bodied, and tense on the palate with lime, underripe melon, and chalky mineral flavors. Medium+ acidity, finishing clean.
