Hm, quite good, but not overwhelming… A bit reserved and strict, not really charming…. Deep dark color, reluctant nose. Red fruit driven, hint of coffee and pepper. Medium finish, remarkable tannins. I do not believe in further development.

From a magnum. Drunk a while ago and forgot to record...I remember being impressed by this, had depth and, whilst not a blockbuster, had plenty of stuffing. Very enjoyable.

Oh yeah! A beautiful wine from a bad vintage. So much Grenache character here. Blue and white flowers, delicate apricot, fresh herbs. 2011 shows up on the back end... bit too much heat and greenish tannins. Drink NOW.
