Full fruit forward with smooth to non existent tannins. Medium acid. Tasted to me that it won’t age much more so drink up.

2nd excellent bottle from this batch. Again, deep earthy, leather, chocolate tobacco. Beautiful finish. A true revelation for anyone who thought WA Merlot meant a thin comparison to CA Merlot.

Given the age this has held up OK, fruit has moderated and clearly some char and oak noticeable on the finish, but not stewed or cooked in any way.

Distinct chocolate and berries on the nose. Palate is silky but a bit light, with more berries and mocha. The flavor profile is not as lush as I remember from a few years back. Good, but past its prime.

Oak, and more oak, but at least all that wood is propping up the wine, and so it wasn't all that bad. Some rich dark fruit flavors with chocolate notes and loads of vanilla. Finish is silky smooth, not integrated tannins, and medium long length on the finish.
