This 2004 is at the end of its best drinking window but still deivers wonderful and complex notes of dark chocolate, graphite, licorice and leather. Fruit faded away. Rapidly oxidizing. Drink up. top CabSauv and Merlot brand wonderfully aged and in its last months of its best drinking window. A few fruit left, underbrush, liquid chocolate, wet leaves, cigars, pencil and graphite. A wonderful ensamble. Long bitter finish. Persistent and mouthfilling

great stuff in its best drinking window. Smoke and ripe red fruit at the nose, consistent palate with underbrush, leather and roasted coffee melt with ripe plums and blackberries. Powerful and full-bodied, classy and elegant, thick and seductive.

Notes of cassis, licorice, spice and earth notes on the nose. Pleasantly fruit forward. Still some firm tannins after many years, though I wouldn't recommend much additional aging; I disagree with the range for this wine reaching 2020. Drink soon and enjoy.

No idea what happened to this wine. It wasn't corked. Completely disjointed and hot. Bummer since the others were so good. 85 score is generous given how much I enjoyed the previous 3 bottles.
