EEE July 2024 Grenache (dominated) (@ OM) : Less expressive than the previous wine, but there are garrigue and red fruits, sweetness, juicy and mild acidity and tannin as well as some length. Easy to like, but no great depth or complexity. Ready now.

(16,5/20) Fresh, concentrated and juicy Grenache from 85-year-old bush vines. 50% Whole-bunch fermented, aged in large oak vats. Bottled unfiltered and unfined. Only 7200 bottles produced. Medium+ intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, red plum, eucalyptus, violet, black pepper, toast, liquorice wood. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium- and supple tannins, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity, medium+ length finish. 14,2% ABV - served @ Wijnbar Pinot

100% Grenache from 85 year old vines. Pale ruby color, intense aromas of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry). On the palate, full bodied, lots of red fruit, hints of pepper, elegant, balanced, long mineral finish. This young Grenache reminds me of a young Nebbiolo although tannins and acidity is less. Ready to drink now but will definitely improve with ageing. 14,2% ABV
