PNP through aerating spout. Very very deep intense magenta color. Very very deep intense magenta color. Raspberry jam, slate, ripe blueberry, and cardamom. Smooth and very dry, with good acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish. This is a pleasant quaffer. Solid structure. Drank with friends at their new high end outdoor furniture showroom (BellaSerra).

Full bodied and dark fruited. This is a pretty robust wine with strong tannins that hold it all in place. Rather spicy on the finish. Good wine. Well-priced for California but I’ll put my money elsewhere.

Notes of chocolate and blackberries on the nose. The taste ~30 minutes after the pour consists of a bold taste. Dark plum flavors are surrounded by a tiny bit of pepper and cherries. Not bad for the price.

Served by the glass on a United flight from London to Houston. Very deep dark purple color. Blackberry pie, cassis, and subtle bay leaf spring to mind. Smooth, dry, slightly spicy palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish. The ‘21 is modestly better than the ‘22. At altitude, this came across as more simple than I imagine it really is. Judging wine on a plane is not very reliable, so take all of this with a grain of salt.
