Another terrific bottle of this wine. Clearly some age on this now with secondary flavors and a bit of (positive) oxidation, still quite fruity, but the spicy character and also the alcohol are a little more pronounced now. Prunes and blackberries mix with elegant oak, hazelnuts and cinnamon flavors. This is powerful and yet elegant and has great length. Great wine - sadly the last one we had in stock. - 92 points

Simply delicious. Incredible balance, excellent structure, beautiful sweet dark fruit, exotic spices, ripe silky tannins and perfect elegant oak integration. This is a masterpiece of an Austrian red wine. Fantastic now, but no signs of age yet. - 93 points

Very dark and intense color. Fantastic nose right after opening the bottle, which fades a bit after a few hours of air contact though. Beautiful ripe blackberries and black currant, a hint of prunes, very spicy with cinnamon and cloves. On the palate the wine shows a fantastic structure, powertful and dense but not overly extracted, smooth tannins, which are still perceivable.
