Very austere, almost Chablis like.

Super dry and searing acidity make this wine extremly refreshing. There are layers of pure ripe fruite, lemon, lime, delicious peach, brioche, spices and vanilla. And then there is an intense minerality pulling everything together. The wine is mouth coating, but lifted and refreshing. Immense intensity, that just lingers, with elegant new oak notes emerging at the end. Very old world, were there not this beautiful intense fruit. Outstanding.

There's lots of restraint on the nose here: some lemon and peach and a faint hint of butterscotch. There's nice balance and poise on the palate, but also a rather engaging wildness in the background.

Faiveley Luncheon and MORE (Makaros @ NLB, Denise Vivo and Le Bistrot) : White nectarine, corn and maize. Lovely yellow grapefruit acidity, soaked strawgrass and mineral backed. Clean and crisp.
