Excellent Prosecco Superiore of the traditional extra dry style. Subtle fruity and floral aromas, a dash of fruity sweetness and vivid acidity in mouthwatering balance. Creamy perlage with extra tiny bubbles. Excellent food companion and also great on its own.

This is a nice Italian sparkling wine. Light to medium in body with high acidity. Showing limes, light grapefruits, yeast, green apples and minerals. Nicely balanced with medium sized bubbles. Spicy and tangy. Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. Great with the baked Brie. 11% alcohol by volume. 88 points.

Too sweet for me. Nice profile but lacked the crispness I was hoping for.

11.0% - No formal note. Very smooth mousse, delicate tangerine and quince notes. This is very good

Clean clear with plenty of small bubbles and extended mousse. Nose of peach and citrus - not your usual Prosecco by any means. This is not a step towards Champagne - it's an entity unto itself - must be tasted to be understood. Creamy on the palate with a clean and extended finish. Delicious!

Delicious steely and linear clean beam Of purity on the palate. Touch of orange blossoms and fresh sweet wheatgrass. Light yet serious. Superb prosecco punching like a good vintage sweet style champagne

7 days in Italy.; 6/16/2012-6/22/2012 (Italy) : Extra Dry. 15-17g/l RS. Die Casel is the family's nickname. Their everyday wine. 100% Glera. Much more mineral H2O aromas than the Garbel. It outpaces fruit and flower tones.

A very, very light nose - hardly any aromas to speak of, to be honest. We swirled and swirled but I didn't get a whole lot. However the taste was very crisp, with flavors of apples and pears, and a yeastiness up front as well. I think that's the "sur lie" designation. The bottom of the bottle had some sediment which clouded the glasses and confirmed the yeastiness. Very effervescent, not shy at all in the bubbles department.

The Italian Wine Masters (Hilton, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, New York) : The nose showed green apple and herbs. On the palate, this wine showed more green apple but with a sulfur note on the mid-palate that ultimately left me unsatisfied.

No vintage specified for the bottle I tasted; this was "Spumante Extra Dry". No specific note kept but good prosecco.
