Grampians Estate Shiraz Black Sunday Friends Reserve

Following the Grampians bushfire, this wine was a blend from 8 Victorian vineyards. Colour deep red pink edges excellent for 15yo 15/15 Nose intense eucalyptus dominates , earth spice , smoky ,aged aromas leather dusty 28/30 Palate full bodied rich , chocolate liquorice luxurious fruit , aggressive tannins long finish 39/44 Overall fading fruit and aggressive tannins and acidity , make not a fabulous red 6/11

Deep red in colour, the nose shows developed dark fruits, a subtle hint of eucalypt and earth. The palate is elegant and well proportioned with plum, spice and a backbone of wonderfully fine tannins.
