Abbazia Santa Anastasia, Litra, Sicily

Light and sweet to start - not too lasting of a finish. I think due to age but cork was perfect and almost no sediment which was cool to see.

Thought it was fried, some seepage on the cork and the age. But this was a gem. Licorice, sweet mint, bramble. Finish is looong and rich and excellent. Some fine tannins and acidity left. Was not very stable after removing the cork (as are most ~24 year old wines), but a total treat. Drink now--your bottle could be spent, but if the bottle is in good condition, it's special.
