Dark sappy fruit, black olive, concentrated but light. Something like a floral mineral smoke combo on the nose. Rich pure fruit int he palate with a nice spiciness that sort of turns into green freshness and fine lengthy tannin. Lots of structure but feels a little unexpressive now.

Part of a syrah blind tasting. "Loved this. Slight purple tinge to the color. Funky fresh fruit on the nose, very floral. Lots of violets and purple flowers. Palate is a party with lots of fruit, good acidity and punch, nice structure. Again think purple. Medium body and doesn't feel heavy. Finish shows the funky fruit and some freshness, great minerality and purple florals. No idea where this is from, thinking maybe Chile or Argentina, maybe even Italy." Absolutely stunning …

Syrah Blind Tasting : Part of Syrah blind tasting: "Super young color, electric purple. Boysenberry, blueberry pie vanilla plum. Obviously new world. Candied light purple fruits and purple flowers. Good concentration and structure. New world, maybe South America? Likely 2019. 90pts." Surprised this was Rhone, but guess I have never had super young 100% Syrah CdR before. Very lively and enjoyable, but not quite on the quality level of the other three wines.
