They were once heavier handed apparently. The winemaker changed (move to daughter) with the 2021 vintage. Has a little bit of the salt and pepper spice note to the nose. I am being told that is part of being under Diam cork. Palate is fresh and vibrant with bracing acidity. Over price if at $40.

Tasted at Hotel Spa Frederic Carrion in Viré, had it with the meat and cheese courses. Refined and delicate bouquet: beetroot, sourdough bread. well balanced with well bred and integrated acidity; has a delicate, silky yet multi-facetted mouthfeel with a touch of maraschino cherry. I found the wine to be rather good for a Haute Cote.

Have enjoyed this wine on its own and with food. Below notes are wine stand-alone. Color: Pale rose throughout all the way to the edge. Typical for the wine. Nose: Pure bright cherry with a hint of dark fruits. Slight hint of cola. Palate: Moderate on palate. Taste of dark cherry. Limited tannin with a hint of acid. This would be mitigated by food. Medium-light ruby red in color with slight clearing at the edges. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of red cherries & strawberries with earthy/dusty overtones, mushrooms, some floral & spice notes, minerals, herbs & a hint of vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of balanced and smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, strawberries & tart cranberries with earthy, herbs, spices & minerals. Drinks quite well at present.

Pop and pour. Drinking well now. Nice nose with a hint of mushroom and earth with strawberry/cranberry behind. On the palate, acidity a touch soft, and medium- bodied with soft cranberry and sour cherry. Very soft tannic finish. So far, seems entirely unrelated to wines others have been describing. Light red color. Fruity nose of red berries. Strawberries and cranberries. Medium/high acid, little tannines. Fruity taste of strawberries. Good value for money. Will probably buy again.

Popped and poured. A basic Bourgogne with a nice nose of light red berries, cranberry with a tiny hint of beetroot. The palate shows, surprisingly, sweet cranberry, good acidity, light tannins. A rather enjoyable light wine.

Non-blind. Had immediately. Sickly light red. Looks more like a failed blush-wine than a *red* wine. Small "fruity" nose with some vegetal and yeasty funk. High level of tasty acids well balanced by the tension it creates with the vegetal fruit and slight minerality (irony filters set on *stun*).
