Pale colour. Threw an enormous amount of fine sediment. Nose is very old and faded, with soft (not unpleasant) notes of dust and vinegar. Palate is better than the nose, with sweet fruit flavours (prune, date, cranberry) alongside strong, slightly vinegared acidity. There's also a nice chocolate note, which for me works quite well with the mild balsamic vinegar note.
