Garnet, medium(-) intensity. Developed, pronounced nose. Forest berries with a tiny bit of raisins. On the palate dry, medium(+) acidity well integrated in the fruit. Medium level of grainy tannins. Medium(+) body. 13%. Flavours of sour forest berries. Juicy texture ending in a rather long, but slightly burning aftertaste. Cabernet franc grown in sand and clay, vineyards around Le Pressoir in Panzoult. Fermented in concrete tank, stored in tank and oak foudre for 10 months.

This is a well made Chinon, Reasonably priced. And nice to drink young. Really classic flavors of the grape.

Drank over three days (how could I even) and what a treat. A really nice Cab Franc, not overly greenish. Just the right balance. Have to buy more 🤗

Very VERY young still. First few days it really needed food to be enjoyable at al as the fruit was well hidden behind the searing acidity and brett. I had honestly written off the bottle but had a taste after 4 days in room temp under cork and it finally started to open up a bit. Still very austere with lingonberry/rowan-berries, juniper wood and brett but there is fruit in there somewhere. Decant for at least 6h or better yet …

Opened up day one with a tomatoey sweetness and while the CF markers were there, it felt a bit... muted and numb lacking vibrance and acidity. I didn't even find it enjoyable without food. Day 2 it had opened up and grown into a nice enogh everyday wine - though nothing special

Encore meilleur que la dernière fois? Un très bon cabernet franc.

This certified organic red clocking in at 14% alcohol did not disappoint. Huge notes of dark berries and vanilla ending on a tannic and monster finish. Way too young, give it a few years to soften and drink by 2035. Impressive for $30 CAD.

No in depth notes. Dark berries such as blackberries and black currant. Ethereal nose of olives, herbs and smoke. The palate is pretty smooth with juicy tannins and a green pepper finish. Solid.

Blackcurrants and other dark berries with a hint of almond paste and green notes of leaves, compost, dried flowers and bell peppers. Elevated acidity, clean and easy-drinking. Nice Cabernet Franc that delivered as expected, perhaps lacking a little je ne sais quoi to really stand out from the crowd.

Pigg fruktighet, jord och aska och umami. Detta uppskattar jag verkligen!

Young, fresh and quite tight. Very much cab franc with pronounced herbal notes. Will give next bottle a few years to settle.

out of the bottle this was very disappointing. Stinky off putting nose and metallic bite - 84 at best. But give it 10 minutes and a totally different wine emerges. Nice tannins 6.5/10 and integrated yet dry finish that lingers.

Deep purplish ruby red. Very stinky attack on the nose that wore off with around 10 minutes in the glass. Tons of bell peppers with a little bit of dark cocoa and perfumes notes in the finish. Dark attack on the palate with smooth yet moderate tannins (6.5/10). Solid layers starting with greenery on the palate with dried red cherries and earthy undertones. Medium bodied with a dry and lengthy finish. Drink till 2025.

Medium body. Bright red with that typical Loire Cab Franc herbaceousness. Also some refreshing tart acidity on the back end.
