A lighter, but charming wine compared to most I’ve had from Hirsch. Light garnet color. Quite intense and floral nose with aromas of strawberry, red cherry, pomegranate and cola (the most I’ve had from any Hirsch wine - maybe this is pretty atypical?). Moderate to light body, though with refreshing acidity and good fruit concentration. Decently long silky finish, not a tannin in sight.

Raspberry, strawberry and vanilla on the nose. Dry. Cold, fresh and delicious fruit. Nice acidety. Oak and cherry on the palate. Silky tannins. Integrated alcohol. Loong exit. A very juicy and drinkable Hirsch PN.

About 6000 bottles made. A little more feminine and appealing aromas with great perfume which lies over strawberries, wild strawberries, raspberries, spices and salts. Good full-bodied and really delicate wine with silky tendencies. Delicious fruit of wild strawberries, raspberries and salts on a long finish with seamless tannins. Very nice wine. 93 points.

Called this an American Pinot but one that was made in a more restrained style. Some vanilla on the nose, good acidity gives the wine a solid backbone. Tannins are silky and velvety, and with air the raspberry-sweetness of fruit became more pronounced. Still very youthful, definitely a good idea to sit on these.
