Paired well with elk burgers and Raos arrabiata sauce. Black pepper and cinnamon flavors very strong.

Nose: Dark, ripe red fruit. Dark cherries, some cranberries and some sort of lively, bright juice. A very slight graphite and herbal scent. With some time in the glass.. vanilla notes come out. Palate: Great, lively dark fruit and a slight, lingering oak finish. Dark, garnet that is still clearly transparent. Dry with great dark, ripe fruit. Ink purple in color. Appears robust, but has relaxed black and blue fruit with good acidity. Tannins in the background and just enough to balance it all out. Smooth medium length finish. One of the better Petite Sirah’s I have had in a long while.
