La Capuccina Vespolina Colline Novaresi

My first straight vespolina. A bit Syrah-like, with dark fruit and some spice. Nice texture, despite the evident tannins. Not the most multidimensional wine in the world, but definitely a nice match with a stew or ragu. Possibly a very faint hint of va in the background.
