Moffett Vineyards Screenplay

I liked this. Medium purple color. A good and smooth taste on the palate, I'd classify this like a merlot or tempranillo. It was not too heavy or rich, but had a medium finish.

EYE: dark purplish-garnet and opaque, fading to clear garnet at the meniscus. NOSE: med+ dark fruit (black cherry, blackberry) and subtle oak (American) adding a toasted vanillin scent. PALATE: fruit conveys well on the palate (black cherry leads), with med acidity and med- tannin; med+ finish of 10-15sec with toasty, sweet fruit notes. OVERALL: a nice, balanced fruit-forward wine that paired very well with steak and a rich risotto. Drinking well now, guessing could age another 2-4yrs.

Light yellow in color, subtle nose, cream with hints of citrus and flower petals reflecting the white blend , medium bodied with pleasant finish.
