(16,5/20) Oh, I love this! Clearly unfiltered, almost hazy even. Clearly some skin maceration with tannins present. Very natural wine style and one that has aged quite a bit I reckon. 100% Vermentino, aged in amphora. Medium+ intense aromas of yellow apple, orange, lemon zest, pine nuts, hazelnut, green tea, wet stone. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 12,5% - Wine exchange Reinoud

Skin contact aromatic natural wine that’s aged in amphora. Sounds disastrous but this was relatively clean. Though still funky to some extent, that actually gave it a little textural richness and zip. Mainly got citrus and almond on the palate, didn’t like it so much on its own but it went down well with food. I’m coming round to the idea that natural wines are a good accompaniment to food but would I buy this again? Probably not.

A Vino da Tavola Vermentino that is made with Cosimo Maria Masini's biodynamically farmed grapes sourced from San Miniato, Toscana. Fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, macerated with the skins for 4 days, aged for 9 months in 400-liter amphorae, vinified and bottled unfined, unfiltered and without any SO2 additions. 12,5% alcohol, total SO2 <15 mg/l (of which <10 mg/l free).
